Hendricks
Studio - Studio F
Having recently retired as an Army
Lieutenant Colonel, Thelma Hendricks began exploring the world of art as
a means of expression of freedom, emotion, and spirit.
She joined a local art group and began to compete in abstract art
competitions. This is where she learned the art of 'pouring', an
innovative technique and paint layering process.
Now, after a few years of working in this medium, she has branched out
and moved into one of Amado Territory Inn's Art Studios, and is ready
for the public to see her work. Inspired by nature and her garden, her
paintings are vibrant in color and full of life. She works in acrylics,
watercolors, and some pastels.
If you pass by her studio you may see her 'knee-deep' in pouring paint,
so it's best to call her for an appointment at (520) 399-0425.
She will however be open for some of the special events on the property.
